Britney Spears REALLY Wants To Headline The 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show!

Britney Spears is at the top of her game!

The pop icon recently shot down lip-syncing rumors by proving she can sing for REAL — and now, she wants the world to know she’s still the powerhouse entertainer she was over a decade ago!

How will she do that, you ask? By performing at the upcoming Super Bowl!

According to NY Daily News, the Toxic singer’s team has had “secret discussions” with TV and advertising executives tied to Super Bowl LII, which is set to take place in Minneapolis on February 4.

An insider close to the situation said Brit is confident she can put on a show that rivals recent performers like Beyoncé and Katy Perry, explaining:

“Britney has made it clear to her team that it is a dream to perform at a Super Bowl. She has the hits package and appeal to be a headliner.”

She has the hits and the name, that’s for sure. But how in Brit’s name is she gonna one-up Lady GaGa jumping off the stadium roof?

Like most halftime performers, the 35-year-old could also be packaged with other big acts to fill the 12-minute slot.

So, unless she plans on performing with Aerosmith and *NSYNC like she did in 2001, we think Britney might need a solid new album before she headlines the big game again.

Would U watch Britney perform at the Super Bowl?
