Kanye West is clapping back!
Reportedly, the Famous rapper is in the middle of tackling fans’ claims he failed to keep his latest album, The Life of Pablo, a Tidal exclusive. Uh oh…
Per reports, several of West’s stans have sued the hitmaker for conning them into getting the JAY-Z owned streaming site as he initially vowed that TLOP would only be available on that particular platform. This ended up not being true as the 2016 rap album has since popped up on several competing streaming services.
Yeezus has responded to the class action lawsuit by noting that the original version of The Life of Pablo is only available on Tidal. Apparently, following the release of the LP, ‘Ye made several changes to TLOP and the new version is what’s available on other streaming sites. According to Kim Kardashian West‘s husband, one Twitter post from March 2016 proves his point as, at the time, he claimed:
“Fixing Wolves 2day…Worked on it for 3 weeks. Life Of Pablo living breathing changing creative expression.”
Unsurprisingly, West is looking to have the lawsuit dismissed. It’ll be inneresting to see if the judge sides with Kanye on this one.
