UPDATE 5:57 P.M. EST: Linkin Park has officially decided to cancel their tour following Chester Bennington‘s suicide, according to TMZ. Live Nation will refund tickets.
Members of Linkin Park were shocked by the death of their frontman, Chester Bennington.
As you’ve likely heard, the 41-year-old singer was found dead in his home on Thursday after committing suicide by hanging.
In light of the tragedy, the band is faced with the hard decision to cancel or move forward with their upcoming One More Light world tour, which (as of now) is still scheduled to begin next week in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
TMZ reports Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, and Joe Hahn are expected to reach some sort of decision soon as venues are fielding calls from concerned ticket holders.
We can only imagine this is an incredibly overwhelming time for the guys. Stay tuned.
