Amber Portwood is pretty much done with Matt Baier.
Or, at least, the once engaged twosome aren’t getting married any time soon. For a recent episode of Dr. Drew‘s This Life #YouLive, Miz Portwood opened up about her strained relationship with her former fianc├â┬⌐.
The Teen Mom OG star dished:
“Matt right now is actually in Las Vegas. He’s living there. At this point in time, we are talking but we are not talking in a sense that we’re getting back together. We argue too much. We are not living together. We haven’t lived together in now almost two months… I broke up with him before we went on Family Boot Camp.”
Whoa. Of course, this admission comes only a handful of weeks after the pair’s romance exploded on our TV screens amid the latest season of TMOG. Specifically, the duo butted heads over cheating allegations and Matt’s Xanax usage.
Obviously, Amber has had enough of this drama as she shared with the TV doc:
“I personally am just trying to better myself in a situation that really put me down and a situation that I kind of just lost myself and my independence as a woman, as a person because I was too focused on Matt so I’m trying to find me first before I even think about getting in another relationship. We still talk because love doesn’t just shut off like that. That’s not how it works… I’m doing good myself and that’s all that really matters.”
And while Amber has taken a stand, it seems she won’t be trying to get back the money she lost during her romance with Baier. But before you weigh in on this decision, know that Portwood is done listening to the peanut gallery’s commentary on her life. In fact, she’s the only person who knows the whole story.
On why her relationship ended, the reality TV starlet noted:
“Honestly, you just get to a point when you’re done hearing things and you just start to not care in a relationship and I think that’s what started happening to me and him. I started not to care anymore about the relationship like you should. I put a wall up so I wouldn’t get hurt again pretty much.”
Hmmm, very inneresting. Be sure to ch-ch-check out Amber’s full interview for yourself (below)!
