Justin Bieber is having a “spiritual awakening.”
And while the A-lister has denied the rumors that he canceled his Purpose world tour in order to start his own church, there is no denying the bond he has made with the Hillsong Church and its leader, Carl Lentz. Now, just so you know, the pastor in no way told the pop star to cancel the remaining dates of his world tour.
In fact, it’s believed that Lentz advised Justin to finish out the tour. Although the Sorry singer didn’t heed Carl’s counsel, the religious leader has developed an “intense” relationship with the 23-year-old. Apparently, Lentz has been an influential factor in the decisions Bieber has made recently.
“The church didn’t tell Justin to cancel the tour. He made his decision based on spiritual soul-searching and his own view of the path in life he should be taking.”
Huh. Nonetheless, it’s currently unclear whether Justin’s revamped dedication to religion is just a pastime OR if the Canadian born artist is really interested in making a career change.
While we wait for some clarification on this point, just know that another source said Justin is “becoming the Tom Cruise of that church.”
Hmmmm, very inneresting…
