We’re here for you, Dean Eastmond!

In 2016, the British journalist — whose publication HISKIND celebrates the LGBT community — was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that grows in or around the soft tissue of your bones.

On August 20, Eastmond wrote on Twitter that his diagnosis was terminal, and was “fighting for weeks of life instead of the years I wanted.”

Earlier that month, he made a wish where he wanted every cast member from RuPaul’s Drag Race to do his makeup.

Well! On Monday, he was finally able to cross one wish off his bucket list!

Around the same time that Dean announced he was leaving the hospital to spend more time at home, drag queen Charlie Hides was performing at a nearby town. After his show, Hides drove to Eastmond’s house to fulfill the journalist’s dream.

Charlie told Yahoo Beauty he wanted to give the writer a look that was emblematic of his “unique energy and personality.” He said:

“I didn’t want to do a traditional glamour face; I wanted it to be more expressive and somehow to embody Dean’s unique energy and personality… The Ankh [Egyptian symbol of eternal life] was my final touch. I know his time here on earth is limited, but his spirit will live on through his writing and through all the people he’s touched, so adding the Ankh on his forehead was the perfect final flourish.”

We are so happy Dean got the makeover he wanted!

Additionally, celebs — including other Drag Race alums — have showed their support for Eastmond on social media! See all of the beautiful messages (below)!
