What is going on with Aaron Carter?
Sadly, there was more drama to come that day!
According to TMZ, a worried witness called St. Petersburg PD at 11:47 a.m. — exactly two hours after the musician tweeted about his crash — claiming Nick Carter‘s brother has been trying to buy a gun in the past couple of weeks.
When police went to Aaron’s residence, no one answered the door. (For reference, he wrote a tweet at 11:52 a.m.)
At 2:12 p.m., the cops returned after someone called and said the 29-year-old needed a psychiatric evaluation because he refused medical attention after his car accident.
Other than his totaled vehicle and broken nose (which he said in the tweets), police found nothing alarming.
But at 4:18 a.m., a caller said the former teen star threatened to harm his family and others. When authorities arrived at his house and knocked, someone inside turned off the lights and closed the blinds.
Later that Wednesday, Aaron didn’t directly address the controversy, but he did post the following bathroom selfie on social media:
We just hope he’s okay!
