Twitter Destroys Piers Morgan After He Writes Essay Arguing White People Should Be Able To Use The N-Word

Piers Morgan

Another hot take.

Piers Morgan got destroyed on Twitter on Thursday after he penned an essay defending a group of white Alpha Phi Sorority sisters at the University of New Hampshire who were filmed singing along to Kanye West‘s Gold Digger — N-word included.

The TV personality asserted that if rappers insist on using those lyrics, there shouldn’t be outrage when fans repeat them.

In summary, Piers wrote:

“I wish the n-word could be expunged from society altogether, as the k-word has been pretty much eradicated in South Africa. But if rappers like Kanye West insist on using it, and writing songs with the word in either form, then it is absolutely predictable and understandable that their fans will sing the songs just as they hear them ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ regardless of the colour of their skin. These Alpha Phi Sorority sisters did nothing wrong. If you want someone to blame, then blame Kanye West.”

Obviously, it didn’t take long before people started going IN on the journalist’s display of white privilege.
