Donald Trump Deletes Endorsement Tweets After His Candidate Loses Primary Run For Alabama Senate Seat

donald trump deletes strange tweets

Donald Trump doesn’t stand by EVERY tweet he sends!

This was made apparent when the president took to Twitter on Tuesday and seemingly deleted posts urging those in Alabama to vote for Senator Luther Strange. Although, we have a feeling this has something to do with the 64-year-old losing the Alabama primary, rather than the Trumpster backtracking.

We mean, THREE pro-Strange posts disappeared from POTUS’s account amid reports that the Senator was projected to lose the Republican primary for a Senate seat. This must’ve been embarrassing for the Commander-In-Chief as he previously bragged that Luther shot up in the polls following his endorsement.

The since deleted tweets were as follows:

“Big election tomorrow in the Great State of Alabama. Vote for Senator Luther Strange, tough on crime & border – will never let you down!”

“Luther Strange has been shooting up in the Alabama polls since my endorsement. Finish the job – vote today for ‘Big Luther.'”

“ALABAMA, get out and vote for Luther Strange – he has proven to me that he will never let you down! #MAGA”

Although Donald’s much older tweets endorsing Strange remain on his page, the controversial politician has since congratulated Luther’s rival Roy Moore (below).

As Moore is now slated to face off against Democratic nominee Doug Jones for Attorney General Jeff Sessions‘ vacant Senate seat, we’re sure Donald is 100% #TeamRoy now. However, we’re not sure if a Trump endorsement is a good thing these days.

Watch out, Roy!!
