ESPN Suspends Jemele Hill After Tweets Suggesting A Boycott Of Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones’ Advertisers

Jemele Hill won’t be silenced.

ESPN has suspended the sports commentator after a series of tweets she sent out on Sunday night suggesting a boycott of Jerry Jones‘ advertisers.

The analyst responded on Twitter after the Dallas Cowboys owner said any player who kneels during the National Anthem won’t play:

The company said in a statement after reviewing the tweets:

“Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines. She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet. In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences. Hence this decision.”

As you know, this all comes after Hill came under fire for calling Donald Trump a “white supremacist.”
