Harvey Weinstein’s Wife Georgina Chapman Not ‘Completely Floored’ By Sexual Harassment Allegations As She Hunts For ‘Crisis PR’ Team

Harvey Weinstein's wife wasn't surprised.

Harvey Weinstein‘s wife Georgina Chapman is in crisis mode after leaving her husband of nearly 10 years.

The former model and Marchesa cofounder made the announcement of their separation earlier this week, and now it sounds like the momma-of-two is doing what she can to save her company!

Considering the reports of the controversial producer coercing actresses into wearing her line, the fashion designer is going to have her hands full!

An Us Weekly source close to Georgina spilled:

“[Georgina] always knew [Harvey] exhibited questionable behavior. She is also very actively looking for crisis PR.”

Meanwhile, Harvey’s soon-to-be ex-wife has been at least getting support for deciding to leave him. The insider dished:

“A lot of fashion publicists have been emailing Georgina their support that she left Harvey since her announcement. Friends in the fashion industry were pressuring Georgina to leave Harvey because they thought it would ruin her brand if she stayed. Everyone would have to avoid the entire Marchesa brand to avoid public backlash.”

Georgina has already postponed the Spring/Summer 2018 collection preview has been postponed, with the source sharing:

“Georgina is feeling so much support from the fashion industry.”

Still, who knows if celebs will want to be associated with Marchesa with its past, especially if they feel Georgina was complicit with Weinstein’s alleged sexual harassment and assault.

The Chapman pal even added she wasn’t “floored” by the scandal:

“This whole situation was deeply upsetting to her, but she isn’t completely floored, so it wasn’t as shocking as people think it was to her. He’s not a good person.”

Georgina’s going to need an amazing PR team.
