Now this is what Twitter was made for!
One eagle-eyed user blew the hive-mind of social media after recently discovering that the official KFC account exclusively follows Herbs and Spices.
Don’t get it yet? Let’s put it this way… the great Colonel Sanders is only following 11 accounts: five Spice Girls and six dudes named Herb!
Twitter user edgette22 was among the first to notice the fast food chain’s account follows Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Mel B, and Victoria Beckham — along with six different Herbs — making a sneaky reference to the ~herbs ‘n spices~ in the restaurant’s secret recipe:
.@KFC follows 11 people.
Those 11 people? 5 Spice Girls and 6 guys named Herb.
11 Herbs & Spices. I need time to process this.

Needless to say, the rest of Twitter was shooketh over the account’s extra crispy cleverness:
the person that runs the KFC account needs a raise. I don’t care how much they make now. GIVE THEM A RAISE.

I am a better person for knowing this.

*Checks out @BurgerKing
…not one King being followed. ├░┼╕ΓÇÿ┼╜

Well done, all around.
But we should point out that Herb Schneider, one of KFC’s six sage Herbs, already posted about the punny page about a month ago:
What an honor tho!
