We are actually nauseous over this.
On Monday, the journalist behind the bombshell expos├â┬⌐ about director James Toback‘s alleged predatory ways gave an upsetting update to his highly talked about story. Thanks to Glenn Whipp‘s investigative work for the Los Angeles Times, more than 30 women were able to detail their unsavory experiences with the 72-year-old.
Well, it appears as though James’ victims list is growing substantially by the day as now an additional 193 women have come forward to accuse Toback of sexual misconduct. How awful!
Mr. Whipp shared with his followers on Twitter:
This is just unacceptable.
In case you forgot, Whipp’s original report featured more than three-dozen women who claimed Toback used his status as a director to lure young women into audition rooms. Once he got the alleged victims to come to a meeting, James would quickly make the interviews sexual in nature. Gross.
Regardless, Toback has denied the COUNTLESS allegations brought against him as he’s defended that it’s “biologically impossible” for him to do some of the acts described as he’s on medication for diabetes and a heart condition.
Hmmm, we’re not sure we’re buying that defense. We mean, where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire!
