On October 20, a woman named Melanie Kohler wrote on Facebook “Brett Ratner raped me,” adding he is “a rapist on at least one night in Hollywood about 12 years ago.”

Allegedly, he “preyed on me as a drunk girl [and] forced himself upon me.”

According to Ratner’s lawyer, the woman says the two met at a club in Los Angeles around 2004 or 2005, where he took her to producer Robert Evans‘ house and forced her to have sex.

Although she took the social media post down in fear of a lawsuit, she is allegedly still spreading the accusations in other ways.

Brett is suing for defamation, and is asking for unspecified damages.
