After three years, Taylor Swift has finally performed a new song for the public!
Hours before the release of her sixth album Reputation, the songstress sang her new song, New Year’s Day, during Thursday’s broadcast of Scandal, and you can finally watch it (below)! The performance was pre-taped during one of T.Swizzle’s Secret Sessions at her home in Rhode Island.
We can’t say we’re surprised TayTay debuted this single during Shonda Rhimes‘ TGIT TV block as the blonde hitmaker is a longtime fan of the 47-year-old’s medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy. Heck, Taylor even named her cat Meredith Grey!!
Not to mention, ABC used Look What You Made Me Do in one of their TGIT promos, mere hours after the single dropped. Be sure to ch-ch-check out Taylor’s New Year’s Day performance (below)!
Between this live performance, and the release of Reputation, we’re sure Swifties are just SO overwhelmed right now. Happy Reputation day, everyone!!
