Kellyanne Conway Defends Donald Trump’s Lack Of Response To Roy Moore Pedophilia Claims: That ‘Story Is Eight Days Old’

no title

When Donald Trump, who comments on every damn thing (and is wrong almost every time), didn’t have anything to say about the Roy Moore scandal, no one was too surprised.

After all, sexual misconduct hits a little too close to home for the POTUS, who has himself been accused of assaulting or making unwanted advances on over a dozen women.

What did surprise everyone was when he had the balls to go after Al Franken considering the accusation against the Senator was quite similar to several of his own!

Critics couldn’t help but point out Trump’s marked difference in responses to Franken and Moore, which mouthpiece Kellyanne Conway defended on Friday.

Conway first made a point of saying Democrats have been “on a high horse” about sexual assault — you know, that holier-than-thou, “we don’t support pedophiles” elitism you hear about.

Then she said the thing was, a current Senate hopeful being accused of predatory behavior up to molesting a 14-year-old girl was kind of old news by this point:

“The Roy Moore story is eight days old, and the President put out a statement on that during his Asia trip.”

Two things:

1. Let’s talk about that story being “eight days old.” Really? That’s too old for Trump to comment?

For reference, Trump made his Colin Kaepernick “son of a bitch” comments 382 days after his first kneeling, and tweeted about Hillary Clinton‘s fucking emails for thousandth time as recently as October 29. (She was cleared twice BEFORE the election.)

So yeah, Trump never talks about old news…

Also, this is an ONGOING STORY as more women keep coming out, not to mention he still hasn’t stepped down from his campaign!

2. Kellyanne says Trump already spoke about this at the time? What POTUS said while in Asia was that he DIDN’T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT IT TO COMMENT.

Here is his entire answer to reporters asking about it:

“I haven’t gotten to see too much. And believe it or not, even when I’m in Washington or New York, I do not watch much television. I know they like to say that. People that don’t know me, they like to say I watch television ├óΓé¼ΓÇó people with fake sources. You know, fake reporters, fake sources. But I don’t get to watch much television. Primarily because of documents. I’m reading documents. A lot. And different things. Honestly, I’d have to look at it, and I’d have to see, because, again, I’m dealing with the president of China, the president of Russia.”

That’s a lot of excuses and absolutely NO weighing in. And BTW, he was watching TV the entire time he was in Asia. He even later tweeted about it — because he was upset he had to watch CNN instead of Fox News.

After Trump’s initial dodge, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders did give the press a bit more:

“Like most Americans, the president believes we cannot allow a mere allegation, in this case one from many years ago, to destroy a person’s life. However, the president also believes that if these allegations are true, Judge Moore will do the right thing and step aside.”

That is the extent of Trump weighing in. He hasn’t even tweeted about Moore. Not once. So to act like he already said all there was to say is blatantly false.
