Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga‘s estrangement may be taking an amicable turn.
We say this with some confidence as, it was reported on Tuesday, that the Oscar winner has chosen to drop the restraining order against the father of her child. According to The Blast, a Cook County judge signed off on Miz Hudson’s request on Monday.
It’s said The Voice judge voluntarily decided to have the TRO revoked as the I Love New York alum promised to never return to her home. Well, well.
Despite Jennifer’s recent claims of physical intimidation and abuse against David, the former pro wrestler has regained primary custody of their eight-year-old son, David Jr. This temporary custody agreement has come about as JHud is busy filming The Voice UK in London AND has to travel to Los Angeles quite a bit for commitments for the U.S. version of the singing competition.
Hmmmm, very inneresting. We guess we aren’t too floored by this recent development. In case you forgot, Otunga previously defended that Jennifer made up the abuse claims out of fear of losing her paternal rights following their split. Not to mention, David has been his son’s primary caregiver since birth because Jennifer’s consistently had a demanding travel schedule.
Here’s hoping, for the sake of their son, these two can keep up this cordial relationship!!
