After new details have been revealed, Lil Peep‘s death is now being investigated by police.

As we previously reported, Tucson-based law enforcers are following the tip that the drugs the rapper allegedly overdosed on were laced with fentanyl.

Now TMZ is reporting investigators are looking into some suspicious social media activity from the day of his death, reportedly sent by a 20-year-old woman named Mariah Bons.

In some Twitter chat messages, Bons reportedly described seeing Peep passed out and not waking up, sharing:

“He passed the fuck out my brother called and I tried to get him to say hi to my brother but he wouldn’t wake up and so I had him talk to mackned”

And later went on to say:

“Gbc high af because of me and my friend lol”

She has since deleted her Twitter account and made her Instagram private. Still, this could be a major key for investigators looking into the young singer’s death.
