Not bad work… if you can get it!
Buuuuuuuuuut… what if it doesn’t work out?!
That’s what lawyers are for!!
And in this case, the lawyers would have a lot of work to do, considering — just like Prince Charles and Prince William — it appears Harry is headed into this marriage without a binding prenup and with all of his assets at hand!!
According to TMZ, that means this: Harry is worth right around $40 million, with his income coming from Charles’ private estate (which also pumps money to Kate Middleton and William). Last year, Harry split about $4.4 million with them.
Meghan, fresh off the acting game, will come into the marriage with about $5 million in assets, per the report.
And in England, dividing assets should things go wrong means it’s not just what the couple makes while they’re married, but also what assets they came into the marriage with — so Harry’s $40 million, and Meghan’s $5 million, are both up for grabs should this royal marriage… you know… not last.
That’s a lot of money on the table!!!
TMZ is claiming that Charles paid Princess Diana about $23 million upon their divorce — no small chunk of change.
And it’d seem Meghan might be getting a pretty penny, too, if things falter after these two hit the altar.
Hope it doesn’t happen, but damn — somewhere north of $20 million?!
Not a bad payday!!!
