This truly puts life in perspective…

On Thursday, Camille Grammer announced on Instagram she has been diagnosed with skin cancer — squamous cell carcinoma, the second most common form — and underwent surgery to remove the growth.

Sadly, this is her second bout with the disease. Four years ago, in 2013, she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer.

According to Page Six, a rep for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said:

“Camille didn’t feel ‘right’… She went to her oncologist immediately and had a procedure to remove a small malignancy. She urges everyone to run, not walk to their doctors if they suspect there’s an issue, and to learn more, she suggests that people visit FoundationforWomensCancer.org to learn more and find a great doctor in their area.”‘

In her social media post, Kelsey Grammer‘s ex gives thanks to her doctor “for removing those pesky cancer cells.” She wrote:

According to People in 2013, after her endometrial cancer diagnosis, Grammer underwent a radical hysterectomy. In early 2015, she announced on Twitter she’s been cancer-free for one year.

In late October of this year, the reality TV personality announced her engagement to lawyer David C. Meyer.
