Gene Simmons Defends Himself Against Sexual Battery Lawsuit — Read His Weak Ass Statement!

Gene Simmons isn’t biting his tongue this time.

The KISS bassist has defended himself against a lawsuit that claimed he groped and made “unwanted, unwarranted sexual advances” on an unnamed radio and television broadcaster.

According to the suit, the 68-year-old forcefully placed the woman’s hand on his knee, “forcibly flicked/struck” the woman in the throat, and grabbed the woman’s butt while posing for a photograph in early November.

When confronted about his behavior, the rocker allegedly gave the woman an “incoherent explanation” as to why he was performing Sexual Assault: Greatest Hits! during the height of the #MeToo movement.

On Sunday, the rocker coherently spoke out about the lawsuit, saying he plans to defend himself against any charges brought against him.

In a statement to Us Weekly, Simmons denied assaulting the woman “in the manner alleged,” explaining:

“Friends, I intend to defend myself against any alleged charges you may have been reading about in the media. For the record, I did not assault the person making these accusations in the manner alleged in the complaint or harm her in any way. I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations. And, I look forward to my day in court where the evidence will prove my innocence.”

Hmm. Gene better have some solid evidence, because his defense kinda sounds like, “I assaulted her, but it wasn’t even that bad, you guys.”

We’ll see how this drama unfolds in court.
