Uh oh.

Over the weekend, Sarah Palin‘s 28-year-old son, named Track Palin, was arrested in Alaska on burglary and assault charges. Per NBC News, the army veteran was arraigned on Sunday morning after being booked on charges of felony burglary, assault in the fourth degree, and criminal mischief for causing property damage between $250 and $999.

It’s said the charges are related to a domestic violence incident. Man, oh man.

Apparently, Track was picked up by the cops in Wasilla — the very same town where his mother was mayor. Way to taint the legacy, bud!

Palin family attorney John Tiemessen has since been tapped to handle the scandal, as he offered up the following on behalf of the famous conservative fam:

“Given the nature of actions addressed last night by law enforcement and the charges involved, the Palins are unable to comment further. They ask that the family’s privacy is respected during this challenging situation just as others dealing with a struggling family member would also request.”

Fair enough. This isn’t the first time Track has been in trouble with the law. In case you forgot, back in January 2016, Sarah’s oldest was charged with domestic violence after his girlfriend told the police she was punched in the face by Track. At the time, the woman was found hiding and crying under a bed.

While the charges of assault and interfering with a police report were dismissed, Track ultimately plead guilty to brandishing a weapon. Yikes.

The former Governor of Alaska previously explained that her son’s arrest stemmed from his war-induced PTSD. After enlisting in 2007, Track spent a year deployed in Iraq.

Well, hopefully, this recent arrest results in Track getting the help he so clearly needs.
