Females belonging to Hollywood’s elite are rallying around Catt Sadler!
As we previously reported, the seasoned entertainment journalist announced she was leaving E! News after she learned there was a MASSIVE disparity in her pay. In fact, Miz Sadler chose to walk away from the network after they refused to pay her as much as her male counterpart, Jason Kennedy.
Thankfully, many have already vocalized their support for Catt and have even commended the TV hostess for her bravery. Specifically, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence have both taken to social media to praise Sadler for standing up for herself.
The Molly’s Game actress weighed in on the situation, as she noted on Twitter:
WOW this is so disappointing. When are companies like @e_entertainment going to understand that women should be paid fairly. 1/2 of her male counterpart is not appropriate. https://t.co/n2zrpTK8XE

We aren’t surprised to see that Jessica has issued her support for Catt as she’s stood up against injustice in the past. In case you missed it, the 40-year-old spoke out against sexual harassment in the workplace after The New York Times published its first expos├â┬⌐ on Harvey Weinstein.
J.Law is also an obvious advocate for Sadler as she too has waged war on the gender wage gap problem in Tinseltown. In response to Catt’s tough call, Lawrence relayed on Facebook:
Catt’s peers in the industry have shared similar sentiments online. Be sure to ch-ch-check out the supportive messages (below).
I’ve always thought you were the real star over there! Here’s to your next journey where you’re treated and paid like the rockstar you are!

Sad to see you go Catt, but glad you stood up for what’s right. It’s a shame what E! did. You will find work elsewhere and we will be watching. Enjoy the holidays with your boys and keep going.

Good for you for speaking your truth and taking a stand. Change is always scary but when one door closes, another door opens. pic.twitter.com/4vbjiPsDVZ
