Shout Out To Prince William & Kate Middleton’s No iPad Policy For Their Royal Kiddos!

You won’t be seeing any iPads in Prince George and Princess Charlotte‘s nursery.

That’s because Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly have VERY strict rules about their royal kiddos’ exposure to screens. Yup, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a no iPad policy when it comes to their little ones’ Kensington Palace playroom.

A source close to Will and Kate explained to Us Weekly:

“Neither like the idea of putting an iPad on in front of the kids… As two people who grew up without gadgets for entertainment, they’re firm believers in toys, outdoor play and encouraging an active imagination.”

We can get on board with that! Also, this traditional stance is VVV on brand for the royal fam.

It’s said the young royals spend their weekends participating in activities like zoo trips or playground visits. They also spend LOTS of quality time with their maternal grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton. The palace insider continued:

“Kate’s parents often visit them or stay for the full weekend. William enjoys a close relationship with both.”

How lovely. And we’re sure the Duke and Duchess appreciate the regular visits, as their hands are only going to get fuller with the arrival of their third child. In case you forgot, Princess Kate is due in April of 2018.

The Windsors certainly have a jam packed 2018 already as the royal family is also looking forward to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding.

Man, we’re SO ready for the New Year…
