Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps was arrested on four different charges overnight last night down in Florida — and from the sounds of the police report, it seems like she had a REALLY bad night!
The Countess is facing charges of battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence, and crimes against a person after she was taken to Palm Beach County Jail at 1:30 a.m. today.
According to an assistant state’s attorney in Florida, de Lesseps is now facing FELONIES with several of those charges after what appears to be a night out drinking gone VERY wrong.
She allegedly “slammed a door and kicked at least one police officer,” according to the state’s attorney.
At one point, she also allegedly threatened police and others by yelling “I’m going to kill you all.”
No word on what started the incident in the first place, or what led police to her before her confrontation with them, but one thing is pretty clear here: it’s probably a bad idea to kick a cop.
Now, de Lesseps is going to learn that the hard way. The 52-year-old, who has since been released on her own recognizance, is due back in court on January 25.
