Rihanna‘s cousin was shot dead in Barbados on Tuesday, one day after they spent the Christmas holiday together.
The Wild Thoughts singer called for an end to gun violence as she paid tribute to Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne on Instagram.
According to Sky News, the 21-year-old was walking through a track in the St. Michael’s area of the island around 7 p.m. on Tuesday night when he was confronted by a man who shot him multiple times. Tavon passed away at the hospital.
Police in Barbados have launched an investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
