Despite the fact that the RHONY cameras were on break at the time of The Countess’ Palm Beach arrest, it’s said Bravo will likely address the controversy head on during a new season. Oooh go on.
One insider dished to People:
“The RHONY cameras were not filming at the time of Luann’s arrest. They went on break before the holidays and will return filming early in the New Year.”
Not to mention, as a second source pointed out, RHONY has rarely shied away from addressing court room drama. The tipster added that “there’s no way” the arrest won’t be worked into the show:
“It’s reality. They follow their real lives. So if this is happening while filming is happening, they’re going to talk about it. They’d didn’t shy away from Tinsley’s arrest. They didn’t shy away from Bethenny’s court drama.”
And with how dramatic Luann’s arrest was, we know fans are ITCHIN’ to learn more. If somehow you missed the dramz, here’s what went down…
Miz de Lesseps was arrested after she trespassed into the wrong hotel room with an unidentified male. To make matters worse, it’s said the 52-year-old “shoved” the officer who arrived on the scene and allegedly “slammed” a bathroom door on his forehead. The Bravolebrity also made threats to “kill [them] all.”
Luann was charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on an officer, resisting arrest with violence, and threatening a public servant. Oof.
She’s since apologized for her actions. Hopefully, Andy Cohen has arranged it so that RHONY cameras will accompany Luann when she returns to court on January 25.
