Cory Booker is mad as hell, and he’s not going to take it anymore!
According to CNN, Democrat Dick Durbin and Republican Lindsey Graham say the President used those words, while Republican Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue don’t recall.
On Tuesday, while addressing the Senate Judiciary Committee, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen (insert above) agrees with the latter two politicians.
When asked, she responded:
“I did not hear that word used, no sir… The conversation was very impassioned, I don’t dispute that the President was using tough language, others in the room were also using tough language.”
Unfortunately, her response did not sit well with Booker who totally went HAM on the Secretary. In an impassioned speech, he exclaimed:
“Your silence and your amnesia is complicit… The fact pattern is clear of the threat in this country. I hurt. When Dick Durbin called me, I had tears of rage in my eyes… and for you not to feel that hurt and that pain, and to dismiss some of the questions from my colleagues… that’s unacceptable to me.”
