This mother-daughter relationship is definitely NOT in the best place.

Following her disappointment of Selena Gomez‘s reunion with Justin Bieber, Mandy Teefey is speaking out about more of her daughter’s latest choices.

On Monday evening, a fan asked the singer’s estranged mother if Selena is planning on apologizing for working on a movie — romcom, A Rainy Day in New York with accused sexual abuser Woody Allen.

The Instagram exchange went like this:

Teefey’s response was definitely pointed, with her sharing:

“Sorry, No one can make Selena do anything she doesn’t want to. I had a long talk with her about not working with him and it didn’t click. Her team are amazing people. There is no fall person here. No one controls her. She makes all her own decisions. No matter how hard you try to advise. It falls on deaf ears.”

Ouch. But, really, a mother knows best!

Just look at what Selena’s costar Timoth├â┬⌐e Chalamet did with his Allen film paycheck this week — he donated all of it!

We wonder if Selena is actually going to take action, or completely ignore. At least we know where Mandy stands!
