The Situation is looking grim.
Mike Sorrentino has reached a deal with the DOJ and agreed to plead guilty to tax fraud.
In case you forgot amid all the Jersey Shore revival hype, Mike and his brother Marc Sorrentino were indicted just over three years ago on charges of hiding income from the government.
The ongoing case only got worse last year as the MTV star was hit with more charges of tax evasion and falsifying records.
For hiding earnings of approximately $8.9 million between 2010 and 2012, The Blast reports Mike is facing a potential 15 years in prison, while Marc is looking at an even steeper 25-year bid.
It’s a surprising turn of events considering just last week Sorrentino rejected a plea deal. Maybe he got a better look at his legal… situation?
Look, we’re not going to apologize. It’s not our fault he picked for his reality TV nickname a real word that might be necessary for describing his own legal matters years down the road.
