But she did before.
In an interview with People, apparently given before the recent blowout in which the artist formerly known as Samantha called her out for “exploiting” her brother’s death by sending her condolences publicly, SJP tries to actually calm things down, saying “there was no fight” between the two.
On Kim’s refusal to return for Sex And The City 3, she said:
“It’s really funny because I never talked about it, except [to say] that some of us were disappointed. But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me.”
Hmm. Is Sarah being on the level or backing away from shade to, as her former costar put it, protect her “‘nice girl’ persona”?
As far as forging ahead with a threequel without Kim, the Divorce star was once again very diplomatic.
“I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing that part. So there was no fight; it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded. And I won’t, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege.”
Well, that didn’t last long. Last we heard, there were considerations to recast Samantha, both facetious and serious!
So is this how SJP still feels? Or was this water under the bridge offer BEFORE Kim burned that bridge down??
What do YOU think, Perezcious readers??
