Times are a changin’ in Hollywood.

Which is a good thing, since almost every seasoned actress has a horror story to share. Case in point, Sarah Jessica Parker recently opened up about a time where she was “sobbing” due to pressure from filmmakers to take her clothes off. Per the mother of three, the incident took place early on in her career.

Thankfully, SJP was able to stand up for herself and refused to go nude for the project. Nonetheless, the industry vet was met with an immense amount of pressure. The Sex & The City alum shared with People:

“I don’t know if I had confidence or if I was being counseled by people. There was so much pressure for me to take my clothes off.”

At the time, the now A-lister had an ally in her agent, Kevin Huvane, who advised her to stand her ground. She continued:

“My agent [CAA’s Kevin Huvane] sent a car and a plane ticket [to the film set] and he said, ├óΓé¼╦£If anybody makes you do anything that you’re not comfortable doing, you don’t.’ Given what’s happening now and the stories told from that particular period, I know how lucky I am that there was someone ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ in this case, a man ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ who stepped in.”

Now THAT’s a women’s rights ally. LOVES it.

Still, even with her agent’s support, the situation took an emotional toll on her. The Divorce star recently “ran into a woman who worked on that movie” and the former coworker recalled Sarah Jessica “sobbing” over the pressure. The 52-year-old relayed:

“They were like, ├óΓé¼╦£Sarah Jessica’s going to be nude tomorrow,’ and I was like ├óΓé¼╦£I’m not going to be nude.’ “

Although Sarah Jessica has chosen to never bare all, she doesn’t want others to think she’s doing it for moral reasons. In fact, it’s just simply not for her. She concluded:

“It’s not a value thing, or like I’m judging anyone else. I just never dug it. I think it’s great when women feel comfortable doing it, and that’s their choice… I think it’s great when women feel comfortable doing it, and that’s their choice.”

Fair enough. We’re just glad something worse didn’t happen to Parker.

Way to stand up for yourself, girl!
