Ronan Farrow‘s back with ANOTHER explosive piece for The New Yorker.
The subject of Farrow’s new blockbuster expos├â┬⌐?? The Cheeto-In-Chief himself, Donald Trump.
According to Mia Farrow‘s son, the president made several elaborate efforts to cover his tracks amid engaging in numerous extramarital affairs. The story focused heavily on former Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal‘s alleged liaison with the Trumpster.
Apparently, the twosome met back in 2006, when Donnie filmed an episode of The Apprentice at Hugh Hefner‘s Playboy mansion. At the time, Donald was already married to Melania Trump and son Barron was only a few months old. In a letter written to a friend about the affair, McDougal revealed that Trump “immediately took a liking to” her. He allegedly showered her with so many compliments that someone joked she “could be his next wife.”
Ronan obtained the telling missive before his chat with Karen, and received firsthand confirmation that the handwriting was hers. Although this isn’t the first time that Donald’s been accused of cheating, it’s troubling to learn how POTUS kept his affairs quiet and bought the silence of those he slept with.
It seems Trump utilized his close connection with the National Enquirer to prevent Karen from speaking out. Specifically, the tabloid paid McDougal $150K for the exclusive rights to the story — and then went on to kill the piece. The company also trapped her via a contract to write a fitness column, a contract they tried to extend after Stormy Daniels‘ payoff first made headlines.
Karen relayed to Farrow:
“It took my rights away. At this point I feel I can’t talk about anything without getting into trouble, because I don’t know what I’m allowed to talk about. I’m afraid to even mention his name.”
Trump certainly did everything in his power to keep this affair out of the press. Reportedly, the New York native would make Karen purchase and book her own flights in an attempt to eliminate a paper trail. The real estate mogul would later reimburse her.
As a boyfriend, Trump liked to tout his own accomplishments as he’d send McDougal favorable articles about his businesses and would shower her with merchandise from his golf courses. After nine months together, the affair ended in April 2007.
McDougal also added how Trump himself pointed out Melania’s separate bedroom in Trump Tower, as she claimed he “said she liked her space… to read or be alone.”
Oh, do tell!!
Of course, the White House has since denied the damning piece. A spokesperson offered up this generic denial:
“This is an old story that is just more fake news. The President says he never had a relationship with McDougal.”
American Media, Inc., the publisher of the National Enquirer, defends that Karen signed her contract after Trump won the presidency and added that she may “respond to legitimate press inquiries” regarding the supposed affair. They went on to note that they didn’t publish the piece as it didn’t seem credible.
If this is true, that’s a first for them. Not to mention, a former senior editor for AMI, named Jerry George, informed Farrow:
“[CEO David Pecker] really considered [Trump] a friend. We never printed a word about Trump without his approval.”
Hmmmm, very inneresting.
