One source told People the actors were just always “very different people.”
That certainly always felt true, but that’s what made the couple great; they were complementary.
But another source says there was a more specific difference we didn’t see when they were together – because it was all about them being apart:
“Jennifer loves her life in Los Angeles, and if anything, she has grown more attached to being there. Justin is not that comfortable or happy in Los Angeles all the time. He loves New York and always has.”
Yep. Their problem was The Big D.
Wait, that sounds wrong. Distance. We meant their problem was too great a distance separating them.
According to this source, the strain of separation was always there:
“For years, even before they married, they compromised and did their own thing. It has involved long separations, especially for their work demands.”
We guess it just grew to be too much?
If you want to stay together, you have to stay together.
Have YOU ever made a long distance relationship work?
