It’s daddy, bitch.

As we’ve been reporting, Kevin Federline wants a piece of Britney Spears‘ Las Vegas profits in the form of higher child support payments for their sons, Sean and Jayden.

While Brit is reportedly eager to put this legal mess behind, she doesn’t want her ex taking advantage of her growing fortune — so, she’s enlisted in her father Jamie Spears to strike a fair deal!

An insider explained to Us Weekly:

“Britney has emphasized to her father she wants this settled. She doesn’t want it lingering because it only creates stress.”

Stress Godney does NOT need in her life!

K-Fed, who has full custody of the boys, and his powerhouse attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan met with papa Spears on March 9 in hopes of “mutually” arriving at an increase to his monthly $20,000 in child support since Britney made bank due to her Las Vegas residency (over $137 million).

While Brit’s camp is worried that her 40-year-old ex will just use the extra dough to support his four other children, Kevin’s team is adamant that this increase will be to give Sean and Jayden the life they’re accustomed to under the pop superstar’s watch. A second source explained:

“All Kevin wants to be able to do is provide the same standard of living the boys have when they with Britney. Sean and Jayden’s needs are of course changing since they are getting older, which is a major factor in the decision to seek the increase.”

The source added that Britney is now “making 20 times more than she did,” when the payment was ordered in 2007 (right after her infamous breakdown) — so it’s Kevin’s “right under family law” to say gimme more.

However, despite the drama, both sides want this to be settled very soon. The first source added:

“Both sides came away hopeful and optimistic that an agreement can be reached out of court.”

Sounds like Brit will have to fork over some of that green though.
