Talk about an on-air oopsie!

During Today‘s Wednesday morning coverage, seasoned broadcast journalist Savannah Guthrie accidentally let a curse word slip while she was on live TV. Eek!

While the NBC personality has since taken to Twitter to apologize for the on-camera snafu, it appears the incident may’ve been caused by a programming glitch. Here’s what happened…

Amid what seemed-to-be a commercial window for the morning news program, Miz Guthrie popped back up on screen. Clearly unaware that she was live once more, the 46-year-old uttered a swear while reading something. Although the cameras stayed on the industry vet, NBC moved quickly to mute Guthrie’s mic.

You can catch the moment — and her apology — for yourself (below)!

Obviously mortified, Savannah tried to joke about the moment online:

Thankfully, very few fans are outraged with the mother-of-two, with some even praising her for being so real. They wrote:

See, Savannah?? It ain’t no thing.
