On Friday, it was revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger had to undergo emergency open heart surgery. According to reports, the actor turned politician stopped by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, in order to have a catheter valve replacement.
However, per TMZ, the procedure is still in the experimental stages and resulted in the 70-year-old having complications. Thankfully, the doctors on hand were prepared for a hiccup in the technique, and were able to move quickly in opening up Schwarzenegger. It’s said Arnold was in surgery for several hours.
This isn’t the first health scare that the industry vet has had. In case you forgot, back in 1997, Arnold had an aortic valve replaced.
As for his current condition, it’s being reported that he’s stable. Phew.
