In news not related to Blac Chyna throwing around a pink stroller…
According to legal docs, around December 2016 through January 2017, the KUWTK stars allegedly spread a series of “false” statements to E! execs that Chyna was only with Rob “for this show,” that she “does not love [him],” and that “their relationship is too fake and destructive.”
“The show [Rob & Chyna] is giving this toxic woman money and exposure she lives and breathes for and by continuing it├óΓé¼┬ª [s]he will proceed with using and physically abusing my brother. Her association is detrimental to our family and Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
The K-sisters also allegedly claimed Chyna was “tarnishing” their brand, and “damaging to [their] family and a threat to Rob’s safety.”
According to TMZ on Wednesday, the KarJenners want the judge to throw out Chyna’s defamation suit because these statements are subjective opinions and cannot be proven as true or false.
In their papers, they cite other court cases where insults such as “loser,” “a big skank,” and “a top-ranking dumb ass” were protected by law.
Name-calling may be rude, but it’s not necessarily illegal!
