Abby Lee Miller‘s back is back in business!!

The Dance Moms star underwent emergency surgery on her spinal cord at 1 a.m. Tuesday following her recent release from prison.

According to Extra, orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Hooman Melamed treated the reality star after she had been complaining of back pain for a couple of weeks.

An MRI showed that the 51-year-old had an infection in her spine and required immediate surgery. If the mass had not been removed, the doctor said it could have led to paralysis or even death.

Dr. Melamed told the publication that Miller was paralyzed and could not move yesterday. Since the surgery, however, she is now able to move her arms and toes and can feel touches from the doctor. Phew!

The emergency surgery came just a week after Miller was hospitalized for a thyroid condition, and weeks after she was released from prison after serving a 366-day sentence for bankruptcy fraud.

She is expected to serve the remaining two months of her term at a halfway house in Long Beach.
