Now that their bundle of joy is nine months old, The Hills alum admits her marriage to the TV producer requires “more effort” than before.

The reality TV starlet told Us Weekly Video:

“I think you just have to put in a little bit more effort to make sure that you’re on the same page in life… It’s just about making more effort to be there for each other emotionally and physically.”

Luckily, the parents are able to reconnect after dinnertime when their beautiful baby boy is asleep.

“We’re able to just enjoy and relax.”

Now that she’s been a mom for a couple of months, The City star feels she has gotten the hang of parenting.

“When they’re newborns they’re just so gentle and sensitive… But as the time has gone on, I’ve gotten to know him more and he’s not as fragile.”

However, does she have any advice for new mommas struggling with child-rearing?

“I think the thing that got me through my first couple of months was people telling me that it gets so much easier… You feel like it’s never going to end, but it eventually does. The baby is less needy and you become more comfortable. Just give it time and know that this too shall pass.”

Sounds like Miz Port and her little one are doing just fine!
