Or should we say, Deadpool’s coworkers.
Let’s rewind. In the final Deadpool 2 trailer, we were introduced to our new favorite superhero — Peter. He has no powers. No training. He just saw the ad and showed up. HIGHlarious!
But the character is more than just a beekeeper and part-time X-Force member. He’s also part of the viral marketing campaign.
Peter W., played by comedian and popular tweeter Rob Delaney, has his own Twitter account, and he’s been tweeting for weeks:
I spend so much time beekeeping, my wife thinks I’m cheating on her with the bees. That would be painful. For the bee!!!! LOL. #BeeKeeperJokes #SeriouslyILoveMyWife https://t.co/1HQJLGHf06

But over the weekend, when Blake responded to one of his tweets, she inadvertently drew Peter’s ire:
It looks like it’s just taking a sip of water, Peter.

Best. Marketing campaign. Ever.
