Gigi Hadid Responds After Being Accused Of ‘Black Face’ On The Cover Of Vogue Italia!

UPDATE 6:34 P.M. EST: A rep for the magazine has issued a statement: “In our latest cover shoot by Steven Klein, the vision was to create a beachwear-themed story with a stylized bronzing effect. We understand that the result has caused some debate with our readers, and we sincerely apologize if we have caused any offence.”


Gigi Hadid is her own PR! And she does a pretty damn good job!

Not long after the 23-year-old model came under fire for having obviously-darker skin on the cover of Vogue Italia, the blonde beauty took to Instagram with an explanation and apology for anyone who was offended.

She also made a point to acknowledge “real issues regarding representation in fashion,” which we think is really important!
