People from all walks of life can struggle with mental health.
Just ask Brittany Snow! For the second installment of The Child Mind Institute‘s #MyYoungerSelf social media campaign, the Pitch Perfect actress opened up about her past battle with an eating disorder, and addressed her ongoing fight with anxiety and depression.
Per Snow (above), she felt “felt very alone and weird” during her initial fight with her mental health hurdles. However, what the industry vet wishes she realized when she was younger is that, she is just “was one of many” going through something like this. She’s since seen the value in her mental health struggles, as it’s made her “creative,” “empathetic,” “a really good friend,” and more.
For those struggling with similar issues, Brittany reminded viewers that they aren’t alone OR weird, and encouraged them to speak to loved ones.
