Now that Clayne Crawford has officially been replaced for the third season of Fox‘s Lethal Weapon series, his costar Damon Wayans is clearing the air on the actor’s bad behavior — and let’s just say Wayans is happy he made it out alive!

The 57-year-old actor took to Twitter on Monday night to defend the casting changes, claiming that Crawford created an emotionally and physically dangerous environment for the cast and crew.

Alleging that Crawford was apparently responsible for an onset injury he sustained, Wayans posted a now-deleted video that showed something exploding behind him on set, causing his face to twist in pain as he ducked and clutched his head.

In the hashtag, Wayans claimed the episode in which he was injured was directed by Crawford. He tweeted:

“Now that the fate of the show is solidified.. I’d like to address the TWITTER outrage with this video and image to follow. #directedby @ClayneCrawford”

A second tweet captured a close-up look at Wayans’ injury — a cut on the back of his head with blood dripping down his neck. He wrote:

“How does the shrapnel from this hit me on the opposite side of the head? #[email protected]

Reckless directing wasn’t the only way Crawford was terrorizing the set, Wayans continued. In more tweets Wayans claimed that Crawford “hit another actor in the mouth” and “busted his mouth open,” writing:

“He hit another actor in the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open. @lancehenriksen a white man!!! #notanaccident#knowyourfacts!”

Wayans then shared a photo of a sticker he said was plastered around the studio lot on which they filmed the show, which read: “Clayne Crawford Is An Emotional Terrorist.”

He continued in another since-deleted tweet:

“Since @warnerbrostv is not defending me at all.. here’s another photo of images other people were posting in and around the lot. Not me! He became UNINSURABLE! Relished in making female cry. And stuck fear in cast and crew. #dontblameme.”

Sounds like an actual nightmare!

Crawford has since apologized for his behavior, including the incident that involved Wayans that went down on set at the end of April.

Warner Bros. TV dismissed Crawford from the series this month, hiring Seann William Scott to replace him as Riggs’ brother — and we bet no one is happier about that than Damon Wayans!

The actor has since deleted his Twitter account after putting his costar on blast.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on the drama!
