If you’re not on The Bachelorette for the right reasons, pack your bags!!
That was Becca Kufrin‘s message to her remaining guys on the ABC series after one contestant, Jean Blanc, proved to be spewing lies in an effort to stick around longer.
After a group lumberjack date (AKA one of Becca’s fantasies come true), Jean confessed he was falling in love with the leading lady after giving her a bottle of allegedly-customized perfume. When she confessed that they are not on the same page, she had no choice but to send him home.
Jean did NOT take it well, and decided to backtrack on everything that he said — revealing that (gasp!) he’s not actually falling in love with her, and he was just saying what he thought she wanted to hear. He also was upset that she didn’t keep him around after his gift — and we’re sorry, but she doesn’t owe you shit, bb!
Anyway, a frustrated Becca not-so-kindly informs everyone else that if they can’t be honest, they need to leave.
Luckily, Wills had the follow-up one-on-one date and he reassured her that she could ultimately find love through this process. He’s a little soft spoken, but they share similar experiences and he seems super genuine. We could be here for it.
At the top of the episode, Becca also had a successful one-on-one date with Garrett — who we all know now as they guy who got outed for liking alt-right content online, so it’s just hard to see him the same.
Becca ultimately let five guys go this week, who were never going to win anyway. Onward!
P.S. Convicted sexual assaulter Lincoln is still in the game.
