A second suspect has been arrested in the murder case of Florida rapper XXXTentacion.
According to TMZ, cops arrested 22-year-old Michael Boatwright on a drug charge on July 5, and then later served him with an arrest warrant for first degree murder on July 10.
Details surfacing from the arrest report show that when Boatwright was arrested on July 5, cops discovered there was already a DNA warrant out for him. Boatwright has a lengthy criminal past that includes multiple drug charges, an arrest for battery, and several mental competency hearings.
Detectives say that there are other suspects at large, but have identified Boatwright as a gunman in XXX’s murder. Boatwright joins Dedrick D. Williams as primary suspects in this case — so far. TMZ reports that The Broward County Sheriff’s Department is still searching for 22-year-old Robert Allen who is also a person of interest in the late rapper’s murder investigation.
