So scary to think about the worst-case scenarios here!

Travis Barker apparently got into what’s being termed as “a bad accident” with a school bus on Friday morning, according to new reports out today in TMZ.

The Blink-182 drummer was allegedly driving a black Mercedes in Calabasas, California outside Los Angeles when he opted to make a left turn and a school bus (that was also in the middle of its own turn) smashed into him.

Thankfully, the school bus was NOT carrying children at the time, but there were passengers in Barker’s car — including, at least, his own son.

The accident was serious enough where airbags did deploy, though the media outlet reports that Barker was seeing walking around “and did not appear seriously injured” after the crash.

Unfortunately, there is no word yet on whether or not his son, or anyone else in the car, is OK.

Interestingly enough, police say that Travis was NOT at fault for the accident — implying, then, that it may be the bus driver who was making an illegal or incorrect maneuver at the time of the collision.

Law enforcement is apparently still investigating the crash; we’ll have more for you as soon as we know it, but for now, at least it sounds like this was a little better than it sure could have been.

Still scary…
