CEO Gives Employee Who Walked 20 Miles To Get To Work His Own Car — Watch!

A little effort goes a long way!

A 20-year-old Alabama college student got a set of free wheels as a reward for making a 7-hour trip by foot to his first day of work.

Walter Carr‘s 2003 Nissan had broken down the night before his training day at moving company Bellhops. He couldn’t find backup transportation, so he decided to get moving and walk the 20 mile journey so he wouldn’t be late for his shift.

Soon, Bellhops CEO Luke Marklin heard Carr’s story and wrote on Twitter that he was looking forward to thanking the dedicated employee in person.

When the two met on Monday, Marklin gave Carr a special thank you gift: his very own Ford!
