Selena Gomez just served a subtle clap back to Dolce & Gabbana, and we’re so here for it!
On Tuesday, the pop singer was spotted in New York City looking chic as ever. It is NYFW after all. Gomez rocked red plaid pants, a black top and a leather jacket lined with blue fur as she stepped out for dinner in the Big Apple.
But the hidden message spotted in Selena’s braided ponytail caught everyone’s eye.
Ch-ch-check out a glimpse of the statement hairdo, reposted by a Twitter user (below):
Selena Gomez responds to Stefano Gabbana who called her 'ugly', by wearing an 'UGLY' hair clip! 👏 pic.twitter.com/S6haMTK1aP

The sparkly hair accessory that reads “UGLY”, serves as a response to Stefano Gabbana‘s comments on Sel back in June. The controversial co-designer of Dolce & Gabbana was caught calling Gomez ‘so ugly’ in the comments section of The Catwalk Italia‘s Instagram post, that praised a series of Selena’s red ensembles.
The unwarranted comment was received in poor taste by Selenators and the rest of the fashion industry, with many coming to the singer’s defense. But it looks like the 26-year-old decided to ‘kill em with kindness’ and continue serving looks.
We’re giving this round to the former Disney Channel star. Selena: 1 Gabbana: 0.
Slay girl, SLAY.
