Nickelodeon decided that it was time to do some rebranding, so the newest logo for the kid-centric channel has been revealed.
No longer will the familiar splat of slime, reminiscent for many of us children of the 80s & 90s, be part of the graphic. Now, the network has gone for a more modernized and generic logo for this and all the sister networks.
President Cyma Zarghami released a statement, saying, “We wanted to clean it up and allow Nick to be the stamp on all of these channels├óΓé¼┬ª In asking ourselves if everything could live under the splat, we decided that the splat was dated. It just couldn’t be done in a streamlined way.”
There goes another childhood memory.
